Virtual race services
Run a virtual race. We handle the technology.
Power Digital runs the technical side of virtual races: athlete registration, result collection and a final leaderboard. Athletes race wherever they are, using either Strava or the ProRace app.
What we provide
Everything technical, from sign-up to results
The organiser sets the race (name, dates, distance and rules). We run the technology behind it.
Registration
A sign-up page for the race. Athletes register and choose how they'll take part: Strava or the ProRace app.
Result collection
Activities are gathered automatically from Strava profiles or from the ProRace app. Athletes don't need to upload screenshots.
Result checks
Only activities inside the race window count, and only of the right type and minimum distance. Unrealistic pace or GPS jumps are flagged for review.
Leaderboard
Rankings published after the race closes, with overall and category views. Full results can be exported for the organiser.
How athletes take part
Two ways to race
Athletes pick whichever suits them. Both routes feed the same leaderboard.
Race with Strava
For athletes who already record with Strava, on their phone, watch or bike computer.
Sign up and add your Strava profile link
Register for the race and paste the link to your Strava profile (for example
strava.com/athletes/12345678).Run between the start date and the end date
Record your activities on Strava as usual during the race window. Only activities between the start and end dates count.
Leaderboard after the end date
When the race closes, results are collected from each athlete's Strava profile, checked, and the final leaderboard is published.
Important: race activities must be visible to Everyone on Strava during the race, so results can be collected. Private activities can't be counted.
Race with the ProRace app
For athletes without Strava, or who prefer an app built for the race. Free on iPhone and Android.
Download the app and sign up
Install ProRace, create a free account, and register for the race with the same email.
Record your runs in the race window
Press Record, run, press Finish. Every activity between the start and end dates syncs automatically, and it records even without signal.
Leaderboard from ProRace activities
The leaderboard is calculated directly from the ProRace activities. There's no profile link to check and no privacy setting to get wrong.
The same GPS rules for distance, pace and splits apply on iPhone and Android, so every athlete is measured the same way.
